Our Story
Previously known as Peterson Trading Limited Partnership, Peterson 1990 Co., Ltd. was set up on September 6th, 1962. It begins as an importer specializing in the imports of aluminium sections, steel frames, glasses, doors and window fittings from U.S.A. and Europe. These products were then assembled in Thailand and used in various projects. Today, Peterson is procuring and using some of the locally manufactured materials which for its products. These include a variety of aluminium and glasses.
Peterson was also recognized for its pioneering work in the introduction of curtain wall in Thailand. Our pioneer project was the head office of Sri Ayudhya Bank Limited located along Ploenchit Road, Bangkok Metropolis which was completed more than 35 years ago.
In 1988, Peterson was the first to introduce the latest technical innovation on curtain wall system with the four – sided structural silicone support and two- sided structural silicone support from Australia. This new technical approach was researched and developed to suit the local weather conditions of Thailand.
An example of Peterson’s R&D achievement is the usage of the new products in C.P. Tower on Silom Road, Bangkok Metropolis. This outstanding achievement has added significant milestone to Thailand’s construction history.
The Company had been one of the leaders in the industry for the past 49 years and will continuously strive to maintain its market leadership. It had completed more than 400 projects and these include a number of landmarks in Bangkok. Recent prominent projects are The Millennium Residence Project, The MET Condominium, All Seasons Place Phase V on Wireless Road and Shinawatra Tower III on Viphavadi-Rangsit Road.
